Marianna and Eduard already welcomed vacation guests to their family-run Pension Brunner 40 years ago and rented rooms to them. They always expressed utmost satisfaction. At the turn of the year 2024/2025, the tradition-rich house of Pension Brunner was expanded by an apartment complex. While the new building is simple inside and out and equipped with large windows and balconies, the main house impresses with its rustic charm. Thanks to the loving management of the hosts, it has retained this over all these years. The new house impresses with its abundance of wood and, despite being very modern, appears very close to nature and rural. Today, Stefan and Stefanie welcome you with their two daughters, the second and third generation, and do everything to ensure you have a happy vacation here.

New building, new management,
New name
“hochbrunn” now unites both buildings under one name. On the one hand, it is a homage to our roots, as the name is naturally derived directly from the existing property. However, it also refers to the location in the mountains that the new building occupies – and last but not least, to the vacation feeling that you receive here as a guest: simply to be “above everyday life” – which means the highest level for nature vacations.
We are not just hosts
We are farmers too
We have a dairy business with cows plus Noriker horses. Next door is a restored mill that is open to visitors. Our guests like it when our animals are grazing on the grass near the holiday apartments in spring and autumn – as then they can see what Antholz is really like. In summer, the cattle live on the alp, at Hinterpassler Hut, where you can visit us on foot or by bicycle.

Pond, lawn, breakfast
There is a pond and a sunny lawn on our farm. The breakfast room is located in the traditional part, our main building. Breakfast can simply be booked as an added extra whenever you wish. You are welcome to make use of the crisp vegetables from our garden for your lunch and dinner (please ask your hosts before).
Mountain wellness
Wellness area? Of course we have one! It' small, but available for free. Here you will find a Finnish sauna and Physiotherm infrared cabin. The two complement one another extremely well during your holiday in the Antholz Valley and will help you to recuperate after an active day, strengthen your immune system and simply to enjoy deep relaxation. The one you choose depends on the kind of heat treatment you personally find more beneficial and effective. If you prefer a gentler heat that aids your circulation, that penetrates deep into the musculature and is especially good for pains and tensions, then the Physiotherm infrared cabin is ideal. If you are looking for an intense heat experience with a strong circulatory stimulus and cooling off phases, then the Finnish sauna is the right choice. What’s important is that you feel “above everyday life” after your wellness treatment.
